Handformed aluminum alloy replica part

Here's a Brooklands type aero mirror cowling. I sold these for many years as part of a "clubman kit" that featured other alloy pieces, headrest, tonneau etc. to streamline the 120's and 40's for racing. This will mount down using the stock mirror base mounting points, and the short stock mirror. It also utilizes a spring steel "toe" (included but not shown here) which engages the center hole for the stock windscreen post,  -so NO holes are drilled. These are much more work (welded and finished seams) than the odd folded up angled cowl (requiring hole drilling!) offered by a Jaguar vendor here. In my opinion the visual "balance" of the windscreens is complimented by my cowling.

This same item, in a painted condition, is shown in place on the 120 SE in the pictures here, neither of which is included in this auction. This cowling is nicely made from .050 aluminum sheet... These are the same pieces I supplied to two group 15 JCNA national champs, as part of my "Clubman kits"  Be sure and check out the other associated items, that I have listed for this set-up!  Careful free packing with shipping at actual cost...

New SEAT Leon ST Estate revealed

The New SEAT Leon ST Estate (pictured) has been revealed ahead of a Frankfurt debut As estate cars have become more stylish, more and more buyers have fallen in love with the idea of a ‘Wagon’ version as their family transport, as it now offers little downside and much more practicality. So it’s no wonder SEAT has decided to bite the bullet and launch an Estate version of the Leon – the Leon ST – as the third model in the Leon line-up. The ST estate shares its wheelbase with the five-door Leon but gets a small – and reasonably stylish – shed bolted on the back to offer 587 litres of space with the seats down and a reasonably commodious 1470 litres with the seats down.
