ITEM DESCRIPTION:
Yamaha 1981 XS650 parts...... shift shaft with washer and circlip good shape. (this part is oxidized but will clean up) This parts assy is from a 1981. These are very hard to find parts in this operable condition. The spring is in great condition as well. The splines are in good shape too. Generally it is the splines that get abused that requires this part to need replacement. (see pics of individual parts).
Please note that there may be some slight imperfections in the surfaces of these parts from aging. However these parts sets have been removed, degreased, and inspected by myself prior to sale here. All sets are fully functional and I would not hesitate installing them on any of my personal bikes or customer bikes. Contact us for multiple sales and we can give you a break on the shipping.

Jet Age lands at Rodeo Drive Concours
Mon, 17 Jun 2013Fins and aerodynamic stability -- the latter sometimes real, sometimes just for style -- dominated the 20th anniversary of the Rodeo Drive Concours in Beverly Hills Sunday. The era of magnificent tail fins was born from the sweet optimism of the 1950s, when “The Future” was just around the corner and we were all looking forward to piloting jet packs, being served by robots and living in futuristic domed cities on the moon. You could call it The Jet Age, and when businessjet timeshare company Flexjet offered to sponsor the Rodeo Drive Concours this year, it suddenly sounded like the perfect theme for the show.
