Aston Martin’s 2015 Lagonda saloon revealed on way to Oman
Fri, 29 Aug 2014By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 29 August 2014 08:13 Aston Martin’s wedgy new Lagonda super-saloon was flown to Oman for testing this week, affording us this fresh look at the Middle East-only four-door. Oman Air publicised its role in transporting this prototype out to Muscat ‘as part of its early testing programme.’ We hope it travelled first class; the Lagonda will only be offered on sale to its wealthiest clients in the region. It’s only one month since Aston Martin confirmed the Lagonda project and issued a solitary teaser image of the saloon, side-on and shrouded in shadows.
Chevrolet Spark first official pictures
Tue, 10 Feb 2009By Ben Whitworth First Official Pictures 10 February 2009 10:05 When it goes sale in the UK in January 2010, Chevrolet will pitch its Spark supermini at well below the £7000 mark to undercut its Hyundai i20, Suzuki Swift and Ford Ka rivals. The Matiz replacement will make its global debut at the Geneva motor show in March, and these are the first images of the car’s rear and cabin. Correct.
Aston Martin Rapide coming home
Tue, 07 Jun 2011Aston Martin Rapide - homeward bound It took Aston Martin what seemed like forever to get their four-door supercar – the Aston Martin Rapide – in to production, and even then they didn’t build it themselves. When they were busy planning production of the Rapide the world’s economy was buoyant, credit was a piece of cake and Aston Martins were flying out of the showroom. But the new economic reality bit in 2008 and sales fell at Aston Martin, but by then the plan to get the Rapide built at Magna Steyr in Austria was unstoppable so, despite Aston Martin workers twiddling their thumbs as Magna Steyr built Rapides, there as nothing to be done.
