Opel/Vauxhall Insignia Country Tourer arrives to take on the Allroad

The Vauxhall Insignia Country Tourer arrives (Opel version pictured) to take on the Allroad It  always seem likely that Vauxhall and Opel would add some butch bits to the Insignia Sports Tourer at some point to create an ‘Allroad’ version. And here it is – the Vauxhall Insignia Country Tourer. Actually, Vauxhall hasn’t managed to get their Box Brownies out yet so what we’ve got are photos of the Opel version of the Country Tourer, but bar the badges they’ll be the same.

The 2015 Porsche 911 Targa will debut Monday

Porsche's bringing the 997-generation 911 Targa to the Detroit auto show and you can watch it debut live at 11:45 AM EST on Monday, January 13. The 206 GTI never recaptured the fizz that made its 205 predecessor one of the iconic pocket rockets, but Peugeot hopes to fix that this time round. For a start, the 206 gets the same turbocharged 175bhp 1.6 as in the Mini Cooper S; Peugeot-Citroen PSA collaborated with BMW, which builds the four-cylinder engines at its Hams Hall plant in the Midlands, UK.
