This is a 1988 Yamaha 130HP 2 stroke outboard motor. This came off of a 1988 Wellcraft 17ft bow rider. The only issue I had with the motor was occasionally it would not get spark on all 4 spark plugs. I have not run the motor in 5+ years. I recently took the boat to the dump and left the motor in front of my garage on the ground.
I suspect the spark issue is the CDI box or the stator. This motor does not come with the controls. |
