Mercedes-Benz considering Aston Martin buyout

Mercedes-Benz is reportedly considering a deal to buyout sports car manufacturer Aston Martin, fuelling rumours that the canned Aston Martin Lagonda SUV concept from 2009 (pictured above) could once again be back on. The move would see Merc increase its current 5% stake in the British brand following a deal announced last year to supply AMG engines for Aston’s next generation of sports cars. Fisker Karma plug-in hybrid recalled over possible battery-cooling system defect

Fisker Automotive is recalling 239 Karma hybrid cars to fix a defect in the vehicle's high-voltage battery. The recall notice, posted today on the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's Web site, says the campaign targets all 2012 Fisker Karma models manufactured between July 1 and Nov. 3 of this year.
