Mini is the UK’s Slowest Depreciating Car
Tue, 25 Nov 2008That vital tool of the used-car trade, Glass’s Guide, has today revealed that the Mini 1.4TD is the slowest depreciating car in the UK. For the second year running, the Mini tops the table, although even it has slipped a bit – retaining 63.2% of its value over three years, a fall of 7.8% since last year. Fabulous Fords go on forever at California show
Mon, 20 Apr 2009While the Mustang got its own celebration two days earlier on the other side of the country at Barber Motorsports Park in Alabama, on Sunday, the annual Fabulous Fords Forever show in California honored all Blue Oval creations of the last 100 years. From the Model T to the new Mustang, there were hundreds of Ford cars and a few trucks spread out across the parking lot of Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park. This was the 24th running of the show, which was started by Ford and a herd of Mustang clubs as a kickoff to the car-show season.

The 2014 Tour de France will see its first three stages run in the UK, so Skoda are doing a ‘cycling enthusiast’ version of the Yeti, Superb and Octavia with some ‘le Tour de France’ badges, waterproof covers for the seats and bike wheel bags as well as throwing in a centenary edition of the Rouleur Tour de France book and a chance to win a VIP Tour de France experience. Just 198 examples of each car will be built – that’s the number of entries for this year’s Tour de France – and you can only have one in Red, White or Blue.
