Yamaha Apex / Attak Windshield and Support Brackets

This is a Brand New OEM Yamaha Xtra Tall 21" Clear windshield part # SMA-8FT96 40 BK and OEM style support brackets for Yamaha Apex / Attak.

These shields were rejected by the manufacturer for having a slight blemish.  Personally we can't find the blemish so here is your chance to save big money on a OE windshield. Once you receive the shield if you are not completely satisfied, simply return it for a full refund, that is how confident we are the you can't find the blem either. Theses brackets must be installed on the OEM tall and extra tall or the windshiled will fold over at approximately 50 mph. The kit requires you to drill two holes in your dash. The kit includes the windshield, two support rods, four well nuts, four screws, two washers and instructions. Support kit not required on Cobra by PowerMadd windshields.

Fits: '06-'10 Apex, '06-'07 Attak, '07-'15 RS Vector

Electric car sales DOWN 20% in 2012 – time to scrap subsidies for EVs?

Mon, 08 Oct 2012

The SMMT are reporting that sales of electric cars in the UK have fallen by 20 per cent in the year to date (2012). Despite every green evangelist proclaiming that electric cars are the way to save the planet from imminent doom, UK car buyers obviously disagree. Despite a taxpayer bribe of £5000 to buy an over-priced electric car, car buyers have not exactly taken to the EV in droves.
