This stainless steel D-Plate is a low cost alternative for replacing the catalytic converter in the GP1200R, GP1300R , XL1200, and XLT1200LTD. It is a duplicate of the plate Yamaha used in countries that did not require a catalytic converter. Removal of the catalytic converter reduces engine bay temperatures, increases power, and gives you the freedom to use regular 2-stroke oil. Due to it's effects on passing emissions tests, it is intended for competition use only.

Removal of your catalytic converter will increase performance and reduce engine compartment temperatures.  A highly recommended mod!

The cat removal sensor chip will eliminate warning lights from coming on due to the exhaust temperature sensor circuit being removed with the catalytic converter.

This part is for competition use only!

Fits the following Yamaha Power Valve models:

2000-2003 GP1200R

GP1300R

2001-2005 XLT1200

Nissan recall due to faulty airbag sensors

Fri, 15 Mar 2013

Nissan is recalling the Altima, Leaf, Pathfinder, Sentra and Infiniti JX35 vehicles from model year 2013 due to a problem with passenger airbag sensors. According to NHTSA, there's a chance the sensors within the passenger Occupant Detection System (ODS) were manufactured out of specification, which could keep the passenger airbags from deploying in a crash. Nissan will notify owners in April, and dealers will inspect affected vehicles, replacing faulty sensors at no charge to the customer.

Denise McCluggage remembers Carroll Shelby

Wed, 16 May 2012

I've told the stories before, but now, with the last of the lads on the seawall gone, I'll tell them again. The stories are about Carroll Shelby. The seawall was in a painting I bought in Modena, Italy, home of Ferrari, in the late 1950s.
