Tesla Model X SUV delayed until 2015

Tue, 12 Mar 2013

Tesla has revealed that its Model X SUV – based on the Model S – will be delayed until 2015 so Tesla can concentrate on Model S sales. Despite plenty of cynicism in the car industry that Tesla could deliver their Model S saloon at all, never mind at a reasonable cost, Tesla has confounded its critics by not only launching the Model S, but seemingly taking as many orders as it can handle. On the face of it, that’s not surprising.

New Mercedes B-Class F-CELL in 2014 – more hydrogen cars planned

Fri, 18 May 2012

Mercedes B-Class F-CELL in use in Southern California Mercedes-Benz are planning to launch a hydrogen powered fuel cell version of the new B Class in 2014, with a larger fuel cell car also planned. Admittedly that does include all the hydrogen you can use, but it’s still probably three times what a regular B-Class would cost to lease.

Jaguar BlackJag 2004 concept car up for sale

Wed, 28 May 2014

It's not often that a former auto show concept is offered for sale, mostly because of buzzkill stuff like government crash standards, emissions compliance documents and other boring paperwork. But it does happen from time to time, such as when General Motors sold off a chunk of its Heritage Collection -- though most of those cars were sold without titles, just on bills of sale, which prevents them from being registered for road use. This week there is (allegedly) a 2004 Geneva motor show concept for sale -- a running concept car for that matter -- with a steep price to go along with it, as GTSpirit has discovered.
