Lower end from 1997 yamaha mountain max. I was going to install it on my go kart but my plans have since changed. I watched the guy I bought it from take it out of a running 1997 yamaha mountain max 600. The stator produced power and the crank and all bearings spin freely. I would highly recommend splitting the case and cleaning everything out because the outside of the crank case is so dirty and changing the oil/crank seals. Because of the limited exprience I have with engines and this type of stuff. I am unable to vouch the functionallity of the oil pump and or the water pump because I did not see the engine run for an extended time. Also last but not least there are some wires spliced into the stator as seen in the pictures. My loss is your gain. You get everything as seen in pictures oil pump water pump stator flywheel crank case crankshaft etc.

Video: FiDU technology creating lightweight, inflatable metal structures

Mon, 30 Apr 2012

This short video, featuring designer Oskar Zieta, details the process and design possibilities behind products developed with FiDU (Freie Innendruck Umformung – "free internal pressure forming") technology. Zieta, a Polish designer, explains how the lightweight yet robust metal appears as a soft object yet when you touch it you realize that it is actually a hard metal. "Working with FIDU technology is similar to carving clay," Zieta explains.

And beyond that the Sport Turismo showcases a second bodystyle than will join the range when the Mk2 Panamera appears in late 2015.

BMW Z4 sDrive 35is (2009) at Detroit motor show 2010

Mon, 14 Dec 2009

These are the first official pictures of the new high-performance BMW Z4 sDrive 35is, unveiled today at the Detroit motor show. A bit of a mouthful (that's BMW's new nomenclature for you), but it's essentially the fastest, hardest Z4 to date since the recently departed M roadster curled over and died. The Z4 sDrive 35is uses Munich's existing 3.0-litre twin-turbo straight six, tweaked to produce 335bhp and 332lb ft of the twisty stuff all the way from 1400-4500rpm. That's one flat torque curve, and a 29bhp jump over the regular sDrive35i.
