Peugeot 5008 revealed
Tue, 02 Jun 2009The new Peugeot 5008 MPV / People Carrier - to debut at Frankfurt Peugeot has released details of their new MPV – the Peugeout 5008 – ahead of the official unveil at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September. And yes, it does have a look of the TVG on the snout, and promises to be able to carry almost as much luggage as the nippy French train. A massive 2500 litres of space with all the back seats down, and a still capacious 823 litres in 5 seat mode.
KISKA opens new design studio

The new headquarters boasts state-of-the-art workstations and has been built to enable the firm to prepare for expansion and new challenges in the years to come. Designed by Hofbauer architects, the 4700m² building was built in just one and a half years.
Mercedes launches Attention Assist

To counter dozing off while driving, which Mercedes claims accounts for a quarter of all major motorway accidents, its engineers have developed an innovative driver support system called Attention Assist. As well as registering linear and lateral acceleration, indicator and pedal operation and vehicle speed, the system also monitors steering response - the most important indicator of fatigue according to Mercedes, is tired drivers have difficulty in keeping their vehicle precisely on track.
