MINI Roadster Concept revealed
Tue, 15 Sep 2009MINI has revealed the MINI Roadster Concept at Frankfurt Just like the MINI Coupe. the MINI Roadster gets a chopped – but open in this case – top with a tilted back windscreen, although from the waist down the Roadster is pure MINI. But the Roadster is promising better handling with the roll over bar shifted forward to just beahind the front seats (there are no back seats) which should make the Roadster more rigid.
Chevrolet touts Corvette 427 convertible with race driver Tommy Milner
Wed, 15 Feb 2012The 2013 Chevrolet Corvette 427 convertible doesn't need any hype--the 505-hp V8, a 0-to-60-mph time of 3.8 seconds and a top speed in excess of 190 mph make a strong statement. Nonetheless, Chevrolet has enlisted the help of Corvette Racing driver Tommy Milner in a trio of 90-second videos to tout the 427 convertible. In our favorite, Milner talks about the car's aerodynamics, including the optional carbon-fiber splitter, that help keep the car glued to the ground for better control.
TFL to get more poweres over roads
Wed, 27 Nov 2013GREATER POWERS will be given to Transport for London to enforce road alterations after legislation finally cleared parliament. TfL and London borough councils will also be able to ensure builders' skips are properly lit and make developers pay for any damage they cause to roads or footpaths. But the changes, contained in the London Local Authorities and Transport for London (No.2) Bill, have taken exactly six years to pass through parliament.
