Yamaha refinished steering clamp set to fit R5 350 1970-1972 and DS7 250 1971. Powder coated satin black to match original finish, and included fasteners have been freshly zinc plated. Most importantly, the stem and triple clamp are straight and undamaged- the steering stops are not dented or pushed back, lower bearing race is good. This means that your forks will not hit your gas tank when these are mounted, if your frame stop is good as well. Handlebar clamps do show some rust, but threads are good. Includes all parts shown, but this is not a 100% complete assembly. This is a clear bargain for what you're getting compared to the rusty, dirty parts from large salvage yards. Note: I also offer custom engine cover set powder coating and polishing services, as well as fork leg refinishing to original appearance- contact me for details. Price listed is for any USA lower 48 state only, other locations extra- ask for quote first before completing checkout.

Sun, 18 Oct 2009

Flavio Briatore is launching legal action to get his lifetime ban overturned Flavio Briatore will start legal proceedings in the Paris Tribunal de Grande tomorrow in an attempt to overturn the lifetime ban he received from the FIA for his part in the ‘Singapore-Gate’ race fixing episode, which saw Nelson Piquet Jnr intentionally crashing his car to allow team mate Fernando Alonso to take victory in the 2008 Singapore Grand Prix. Briatore is claiming the life time ban from involvement in any FIA sanctioned Motor Sport – including driver management – is a legal absurdity. And he probably has a point.

This year 15 students, led by tutors Aaamer Mahmud and CDN contributor, Nick Hull, are completing the 16-month postgraduate course. Carrosse Stephane Krumenacker Krumenacker's personal interest in (built) environmental philosophy dictated his approach to this project, which started with a scenario rather than a product.
