BMW i3 tops Sunday Times best Electric Cars list

Mon, 21 Oct 2013

The BMW i3 EV tops Sunday Times best Electric Cars list Just as they did with the new Range Rover last year, the Sunday Times has declared the new BMW i3 EV the pick of the bunch of electric and hybrid cars on sale in the UK, despite the i3 not yet arriving on UK roads. But the real excitement was reserved for the new second-generation Insight, whose low price Honda believes will lure a whole new raft of buyers to hybrid motoring.  This bears about as much relation to the wild-looking Insight coupe of old as the Jazz does.

It’s what you’d normally expect a lead-out model to be, but for some reason Mitsubishi decided a lead-in model was appropriate. Perhaps it was a decision by the same department that decided that the Outlander should be a crossover instead of an SUV?
