AMR STAGE 2 PERFORMANCE REV BOX YAMAHA RAPTOR 50 (all years) AMR STAGE 2 CDI REV BOX Increased Rev Limit! Stage 2 vs Stage 3? Basically the Stage 3 has a more aggressive timing curve vs the stage 2, and a slightly higher rev limit. Stage 3 users generally notice more low end throttle response. Stage 3 works great on stock motors, even better with after market exhaust/air/ect. Both Stage 2 and Stage 3 operate well within the engine's tolerances. Stage 2 is recommended for bone stock setup with no intentions of adding any aftermarket exhaust or air intake. Stage 3 is recommended for slightly higher performance on a stock setup, and highly recommended for users with aftermarket exhaust/air or have plans for them in future. New Jaguar XJ Supersport Diesel coming?
Sun, 30 May 2010The Jaguar XJ Supersport TDV8 - expect it in showrooms in 2011 We’ve known for quite a while that Jaguar Land Rover were going to start putting a new V8 diesel in to their cars. The 3.6 litre TDV8 which goes in the Land Rover is a very good lump (made by Ford at Dagenham) with some decent horses and a nice fat lump of torque. But the introduction by Jaguar of the 3.0 litre diesel and its subsequent introduction in to Land Rover’s cars meant the 3.6 litre’s days were numbered.
Consumer Reports: No to Chevrolet SUV, Ford crossovers, MyFord Touch
Tue, 04 Jan 2011Consumer Reports said Monday it will not recommend the Chevrolet Tahoe SUV and Ford Edge and Lincoln MKX crossovers because of low scores in the magazine's tests, and panned Ford Motor Co.'s MyFord Touch and MyLincoln Touch technology. The magazine also said it will not recommend the Infiniti QX56, a V8 version of the Jeep Grand Cherokee and the Porsche Cayenne. Those SUVs performed well in testing but were too new for the magazine to have adequate reliability data to recommend, it said.
Pagani Huayra confirmed for U.S.
Tue, 15 Feb 2011The Pagani Huayra - Confirmed for the US Despite becoming a hypercar maker of renown – a major achievement in a little over a decade – Pagani has never sold cars in the US. Which means the delicious Zonda – in all its many iterations – has never been available in the US market, and even imports from other parts of the world are impossible. Well, impossible if you follow the rules, but if you care to bend things a little… But Pagani always planned to sell the Pagani Huayra – Pagani’s latest creation – in to the US.
