Holden Calais unveiled, previews Chevrolet SS

General Motors' Australian subsidiary, Holden, has revealed its new VF series Calais -- the rear-wheel-drive sedan that in top-of-the-line, V8-powered, left-hand-drive form -- will be exported to North America and sold as the Chevrolet SS. The new Calais sits at the top of what Holden describes as an “extensively upgraded Commodore” range, with right-hand-drive Australian sales set to get underway in June. The Holden Commodore and its more luxurious Calais derivative have underpinned General Motors' sales in Australia since its introduction in 1978.

Peugeot 408 GT teased ahead of Beijing 2014 debut

Peugeot will show a new concept car at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show this April, hinting at a small four-door coupe that could rival the Mercedes-Benz CLA. The prototype will most likely be based on the French firm’s current 308 hatchback – underpinned by PSA Peugeot Citroen’s latest EMP2 platform – and will continue to evolve the brand’s new design direction. Spied: Jaguar F-Type Coupe ahead of LA Motor Show debut

These are the clearest images yet of Jaguar’s new F-Type Coupe, set to be unveiled next week at the LA Motor Show and due on sale in the UK by spring 2014. The car was spotted wearing a camouflage wrap by a car-mad teenager in a supermarket car park in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, a short drive from Jaguar’s headquarters near Coventry.
