Northumbria University Degree Show 2008

Students graduating from the Northumbria University BA (Hons) Transportation Design course based in Newcastle in the north east of England have shown their work at an exhibition entitled ‘New Designers'. Held the Business Design Centre in Islington, north London, the exhibition featured a series of schools displaying various thesis projects from their Art and Design programs. Prices have been revealed for the estate version of the Chevy Cruze – the Cruze SW – starting at £15,375. We had the first news of the estate version of the Chevy Cruze Hatch and saloon back in January with a single photo of the Chevrolet Cruze SW – and not a lot else. Perhaps, as Chevrolet aren’t exactly used to building small estate cars, they hadn’t quite worked out what they were able to offer.

Ford Fiesta S2000 rally car (2010) revealed

Ford isn’t planning an ST or RS Fiesta, but this is the next best thing – the Ford Fiesta S2000 rally car. Built by M-Sport - the same team behind the WRC Focus - it’s Ford first global rally car. The Fiesta is eligible to enter national rally championships, as well as the IRC and S2000 World Cup in 2010, and will also form the basis of Ford’s WRC effort in 2011. It will debut as a course car at next week’s Rally of Scotland, the final round of this year’s IRC.
