Datsun's Koji Nagano on the design inspiration of the new Go [w/Video]

Nissan has re-launched Datsun as a low-cost brand in New Dehli, India, and will introduce its future car, the Go, in early 2014 before exporting it to Indonesia, Russia and South Africa. Koji Nagano, Datsun's executive design director, describes the design inspiration for the new Datsun Go in a short video. Nagano explains how important it was that the team understand the brand's history and what it used to symbolize before focusing on how they could meet customer's expectations in each country.

Alfa Romeo 4C arrives stateside in New York

Not long after the last transport departed New York Harbor with a cargo of unsold 164s, an Alfa Romeo executive was probably quoted as saying, "we will return next year!" You'll have to forgive us for such skepticism -- we've been burned by our desire to invoke Italian driving passion and all that, but it's also hurting the Fiat dealers who scrape by on a lack of product.

The new Mercedes C-Class Estate (pictured) revealed The new Mercedes C-Class arrived at the Detroit Auto SHow in January and looks to be properly appealing – a mini S-Class and strong competition for the BMW 3-Series. Now we get the 2015 Mercedes C-Class Estate, which takes the new C-Class in to the load-lugging sector with a capacious take on the fine attributes of the C-Class saloon. A C-Class saloon from the B-pillars forward, the new C-Class Estate grows to 4702mm and gets a 2840mm wheelbase, enough for an extra 45mm of legroom in the back and with 490 litre of room for stuff in the boot with the seats up and 1510 litres with them folded away, and there are more options in between with new seats that split 40/20/40 and can be moved electrically.
