Jaguar SUV/Crossover – Jaguar C-X17 Concept teased for Frankfurt
Mon, 02 Sep 2013The Jaguar C-X17 Concept (pictured) teased for Frankfurt We’ve been pretty sure for some time that a Jaguar SUV Concept (or, really, a Jaguar Crossover Concept) will arrive at the Frankfurt Motor Show this month. And so it is. The Jaguar C-X17 Concept is being teased today, and it’s clear this is Jaguar’s new, small Crossover aiming to take a much bigger slice of the world’s premium market than anything else currently in the Jaguar range.
Koenigsegg Agera R: Geneva bound
Thu, 20 Jan 2011The first Koenigsegg Agera R - produced for the Oman Royal family This time last year – give or take a week or two – we heard a whisper that Koenigsegg had something new planned for Geneva. A day or two of furtling around and we were able to report a week later that Koenigesegg were indeed taking something new to Geneva – the Koenigsegg Agera. The Agera duly turned up at Geneva in March and the last year has seen a number of orders for Ageras, although so far – to the best of our knowledge – just two Ageras have been delivered.
Is the Jaguar XFR-S on the way?
Thu, 02 Feb 2012Is the Jaguar XFR-S on the way (2012 XFR pictured) New reports suggest that the Jaguar XFR-S – a more powerful XFR with the output of the XKR-S – is close to production. Last summer we reported that a Jaguar XFR-S was being planned (actually, we also said a Jaguar XJR-S was in the planning too) in order to take the fight back to the Germans, with the latest iterations of the BMW M5 and Mercedes E63 AMG now offering more power than the XFR can muster. The idea of a more powerful XFR wasn’t just wild speculation (or an educated guess as to what Jaguar needed to do to keep in touch with German rivals) but was also based on Adrian Hallmark’s comments that it would be nice to take the power upgrades on the XKR-S and extend them to the XF.
