One of the odder things about living in "the future" is that things develop so gradually, hardly any of the really amazing things we're exposed to every day seem amazing or futuristic. Crazy Honda Uni-Cub ß to debut at Tokyo Motor Show 2013

Honda If you're anything like us, it would have taken a while for you to realise that you're not looking at a pair of penguins in this picture. Instead, it's a new Uni-Cub ß ‘personal mobility device’ that's set to be unveiled by Honda at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show. First introduced in 2012, the Uni-Cub ß features balance control technology and an omni-directional driving wheel system called Honda Omni Traction Drive System.

Roof leaks dampen Autorama

The Detroit Autorama was marred last weekend by a leaky roof that spilled salty, rusty water onto several custom cars. The leaks were caused by a combination of heavy precipitation--Detroit has had one of the snowiest winters in recent memory that gave way to an early March rainstorm--which pummeled an aging roof. Water fell to the show floor in six spots, temporarily damaging seven or eight cars.
