SO CHECK TO SEE IF THIS WORKS ON YOUR ENGINE BEFORE BIDDING.YOU MAY BE ABLE TO MAKE YOUR OWN EXTENTION , IF THE TOOL DOES NOT REACH YOUR PISTON. YOU CAN TAKE THE ROD COMPLETELY OUT OF THE TOOL AND PUT ONE IN THE LENGTH THAT YOU NEED.THE ROD ON THE TOOL IS ABOUT 7MM THICK.
IT IS VERY EASY TO USE THE TOOL.
YOU SCREW INTO THE SPARK PLUG HOLE THEN TURN THE DIAL ON THE SIDE TO 0. THEN TURN YOUR FLYWHEEL UNTIL YOU FIND TOP DEAD CENTER. THEN YOU TIGHTEN THE SCREW AT THE TOP TO HOLD THE ROD IN PLACE, AND THEN YOU BACK OFF YOUR FLYWHEEL A LITTLE. THEN TURN YOUR DIAL ON THE SIDE TO DESIRED MM BEFORE TOP DEAD CENTER.IF YOU ARE TRYING TO SET YOUR ENGINE TO 1.5 MM BEFORE TDC YOU TURN THE DIAL FROM 0 ALL THE WAY AROUND THE TOOL ONE TIME UNTIL YOU COME TO THE ONE ,THEN YOU TURN IT UP 5 NUMBERS TO GET TO THE .5.IT WORKS JUST LIKE A MICROMETER. A MUST HAVE TOOL TO KEEP YOUR BIKES RUNNING PERFECT!
