Nissan offers interactive shopping for smartphone users on sales lots
Fri, 05 Aug 2011Nissan is putting Quick Response codes on its vehicle price stickers so shoppers can use smartphones to read up on cars as they peruse dealership lots. With the "On Vehicle Graphics" system, QR codes are available to provide extra decision-making information that is easily accessible via popular mobile devices. The codes are available to act as a "silent salesperson," starting with vehicles for the 2012 model year.

Fri, 12 Jul 2013The Jaguar C-X75, pictured at Goodwood ahead of its Supercar run Jaguar are pulling out all the stops for this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed with not only their latest performance cars but the debut of the Jaguar Project 7, an F-Type R with the DNA of a D-Type. But they’ve topped all that by deciding that their canned supercar project – the Jaguar C-X75 – deserves a proper outing in public. Jaguar only have five development versions of the C-X75, but they’ve taken one to Goodwood – although it’s not on display – and are wheeling it out over the weekend to take part in the Michelin Supecar run up the hill.

Mon, 11 Nov 2013Honda FCEV hydrogen Concept teased for Los Angeles Auto Show Car makers are all starting to vie for a piece of the hydrogen-powered market for road cars that is starting to develop, and Honda is now joining the fray with the Honda FCEV Concept. The Toyota FCV has already been revealed as debuting at the Tokyo Motor Show and now Honda are in on the act with their own FCEV heading for a debut at Los Angeles later this month. Honda say the FCEV Concept previews a 2015 production model for the US and Japan – and other markets later – and comes more than a decade after Honda first started leasing hydrogen fuel cell cars to a handful of fleet users.
