PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING These are made to order and will ship within 3-5 business days after you order. This is a WELD IT TOGETHER YOURSELF KIT. This kit fits together nicely but does require some welding, if you cannot or prefer not to weld see my other auction where I sell this same kit, already welded and ready to bolt on. This kit allows me to lower the price due to less labor. This is version 6.0. It has bolt on flat sideplates instead of welded tube struts but included are plastic rounded covers for the sides if you prefer to give it the round tube look, see pictures.. This is much stronger. It also has a two piece 16gauge underpan and battery box. I no longer build these with tubing, this method allows for much more adjustability and also allows the frame to be hidden better under the seat so you don't see the frame hanging underneath. If you don't need the tank lift, side covers or battery box, contact me, I will deduct the cost of these items and start a separate auction for you to purchase without the item you don't want. Don't fall for the other cheap versions of subframes for these bikes, these will outlast your virago and are the most universal units out there. You can make most any flat bottom seat work. These have the correct dimensions and angles that I have perfected over the years, others do not. This option gives you more adjustability than any other copy cat subframe out there being sold The universal cafe seat made by the Chappell Brothers, a tuff side seat will fit this subframe because of the flat bottom. You will have to drill holes in the pan for mounting studs. In the pics you will see their version of the 23" cafe seat. Very nice quality, good seat This subframe also works with the Motolanna and Dime City seats although you may have to bend their seat tabs a little. I've drilled the rear mount holes exact to the Motoanna seat pan I have, but it seems both of these seats are a little different on every run, so you may have to do some adjusting, filing drilling to make those fit nicely, but with that, they will fit nicely with a little attention to detail IT DOES INCLUDE BATTERYBOX sized to fit 12 cell Antigravity or Ballistic Lithium battery. INCLUDES BOLT ON REAR PAN, MOUNTING HARDWARE AND TANK LIFT WHICH WORKS ONLY WITH THE STOCK YAMAHA XV750 AND XV920 TANKS. I DO NOT MAKE ANYTHING FOR MOUNTING THE BENELLI TANK First off, in order to properly mount one, you must modify the front of the Benelli tank in order to drop it down on the frame , otherwise they sit crooked, high in the front. Second, you must rubber mount the tank so you don't have issues with it cracking later. If you have the skills to modify the tank, you'll have to make your own mounts, Yes, the subframe will line up with a properly mounted Benelli tank, but you'll have to mount it yourself, I won't accept the liability This is designed for SOLO RIDER USE, the seat area measures about 18" long, 6.5" wide in the front tapering out to about 7.5" in the rear. , Pretty much any flat bottom seat con be adapted easily to this frame I've been building these bikes for a while now, here is a link to my website hagemanmc.c0m This is a straight forward simple weld together and bolt on unit, perfect or creating a cafe racer or dirt tracker from a mono framed virago. Please do not ask me to change or lower the price of your item on the customs paperwork. International shipping is expensive, and it's not my fault, I charge you what I pay. This is already recorded via the ebay sale. Altering the price is a federal offense, I don't plan on going to prison to sell you a subframe Modifying any Motorcycle can be dangerous. I have no control over the usage of my parts.I, Docschops, or Hageman Motorcycles assumes no responsibility for damage or injury caused by modifying your bike or installing my subframe kit.I, Docschops or Hageman Motorcycles shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages whatsoever. If you don't know what you are doing, don't buy this kit. I recommend you consult a professional shop. By purchasing this with the "buy it now" you are agreeing to these terms. Thanks for looking! Ford Model T climbs Ben Nevis: Ford Heritage Images
Wed, 05 Jan 2011Ford Model T climbs Ben Nevis in 1911 (click for full size image) When the good Mr Clarkson decided Top Gear should do a piece about a Land Rover Discovery using its incredible off-road abilities to climb a mountain in Scotland we were all astonished that – despite a couple of hiccups on the way – he managed to get one of Land Rover’s finest up a mountain where cars were never designed to go. What’s even more astonishing is that Ford managed to do the same 100 years go, but they used a standard Model T and choose Britain’s tallest mountain – Ben Nevis – for the stunt. The 20 horsepower Model T was driven up Ben Nevis as a publicity stunt for Ford’s agent in Edinburgh.

Thu, 03 Jul 2014A television advert for the car buying service webuyanycar.com has been ruled “misleading” by the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA), and must not be shown again in its current form. The complaint and the decision centred on the phrase “no nasty surprises” in combination with the lack of any reference to the company’s mandatory administration fee. On Bing: see pictures of misleading car advertising Find out how much a used car costs on Auto Trader The TV ad in question showed two men floating in the sky with car shaped balloons, while a voiceover stated: “When you’re selling you car you can often get knocked down on the price.
