Maserati GranCabrio Sport arrives
Wed, 27 Jul 2011Maserati GranCabrio Sport arrives in the UK Actually, the Maserati GranCabrio Sport arrived a few months back at the Geneva Motor Show, but it’s now washed up on our shores – just too late to enjoy the miserable summer with the rest of us by the time the first UK customer cars actually arrive in October. OFFICIAL: 2014 BMW 4 Series Convertible
Sun, 13 Oct 2013OFFICIAL: 2014 BMW 4 Series Convertible A few days ago we had the first leaked photos of the new BMW 4 Series Convertible, so it was clear BMW were close to revealing the 4 Series Convertible. And here it is. Bigger than the old 3 Series Convertible – and, not surprisingly, looking very like the 4 Series Coupe – the new 4 Series Convertible keeps the folding metal roof the 3 Series had so you really get a proper coupe and convertible all in one.
Jean Bugatti's final project realized 73 years after his death
Fri, 10 Aug 2012Legendary designer Jean Buggati's final unfinished project has finally been realized by the Mullin Automotive Museum, 73 years after his death. The Southern Californian Museum is devoted to the preservation of French art and automobiles from the Art Deco era, and has announced that the 1939 Bugatti Type 64 Coupe Chassis #64002 project is nearing completion. The museum – alongside Stewart Reed Design of Pasadena and Automobile Metal Shaping Company of Michigan – has added the swooping coupé body to the original chassis based on sketches left unfinished by Bugatti at the time of his death in 1939.
