Mazda 6 launched at 2012 Moscow motor show

Mazda has unveiled its new 6 saloon at the 2012 Moscow motor show – a nod to the significance of the Eastern European markets for the Japanese car maker. This third-generation Mazda 6 will be the second model in Mazda’s line-up to feature both its suite of innovative SkyActiv drivetrain and chassis technologies and the company’s ‘Kodo – Soul of Motion’ design language. That’s a clunky design title, but the new 6 is anything but - it’s a handsome looking car in our eyes, and takes its riffs from the Mazda Takeri concept first seen at the 2011 Tokyo motor show.

The 2011 BMW 6 Series Convertible - on sale March 2011 Perhaps BMW wants to grab a slice of the top-end convertible action next Spring, or maybe they just fancied turning normal model launch convention on its head by launching the soft-top first. Peter Schreyer to receive 2014 EyesOnDesign Lifetime Design Achievement Award

Peter Schreyer has been chosen by a panel of his fellow designers to receive the 2014 EyesOnDesign Lifetime Design Achievement Award. Schreyer, Kia and Hyundai's chief design officer and one of three presidents, directs the design strategy for the both Kia and Hyundai. He's the first non-Korean to hold the position of president and is one of the highest-ranking designers in the industry's history.
