This auction is for a set of Hotcams that I had for my '09 WR450 supermoto.  I installed the cams and broke them in per the instructions then decided to sell the bike and removed the cams.  These cams have less than 5 hours and are basically brand new.  There are no defects and both cams are in great condition!  Please feel free to ask any questions that you may have about these cams.  I have the original box for the exhaust cam, but not the intake (I have a Hotcams box for it, just not the original).  Please feel free to ask any questions that you may have about these cams.

Tesla teases Model S prior to debut

Thu, 12 Feb 2009

Prior to its world debut on March 26, Tesla has decided to whet the appetites of green-car fans by releasing a teaser image of its upcoming Model S sedan. Under the direction of former Mazda designer Franz von Holzhausen, the Model S features a rounded front nose, a front fender plate with an affixed Tesla emblem and a noticeably shorter hoodline. Unlike the Fisker Karma, the Model S will be powered solely on battery propulsion and do without a range-extending engine, which helps accommodate the shorter hood.

Jaguar and Williams F1 to partner on C-X75 hybrid supercar technology

Fri, 06 May 2011

Jaguar is teaming up with Williams F1 to put a limited run of $1.1 million C-X75 hybrid-powered supercars into production in late 2013 with a crucial partnership that links two storied British companies to develop cutting-edge technology. Jag and Williams have been working on a production plan for the C-X75 since January and will share development over the next few years. “Williams has expertise in composite structures, advanced powertrains, aerodynamics, low-volume production and speedy production development,” said Bob Joyce, Jaguar Land Rover's chief engineer.

EBay exotic: 1974 Alfa Romeo Berlina 2000

Mon, 11 Jul 2011

I'm a sucker for a four-door Alfa, and this bright red Berlina 2000 posted by our friends at Bring a Trailer has yours truly all aflutter this morning. Formerly owned by an Alfa Romeo employee in the United States, this car shows just a tick less than 89,000 original miles and wears fresh paint as of a few years ago. The seller, himself an Alfisti, claims that the gauges and mechanicals are all in correct working order, and the original factory air conditioning apparently operates as well as it did when new--which likely isn't very well, but still, it makes an interesting conversation piece.
