AC Schnitzer turns BMW 4 Series into German police car

Crime can’t crack itself – which is why the German tuner AC Schnitzer has equipped the German police with this, a specially modified BMW 428i coupe. Making its debut at the 2013 Essen Motor Show in Germany, the tuned bee-em gets some rather interesting modifications. Porsche Boxster GTS and Cayman GTS revealed

The new Porsche Cayman GTS (pictured) will debut at the Beijing Motor Show Porsche has decided the Boxster and Cayman need the GTS treatment, so we get treated to both a Porsche Boxster GTS and Porsche Caymen GTS. Based on the Boxster S and Catmen S, both the GTS models get a Euro 6 version of the 3.4 litre flat six with an extra 15bhp, which means 325bhp for the Bosxster and 335bhp for the Cayman. Both come with a six-speed manual as standard but you can opt for 7-Speed Dual Clutch ‘box which allows the Cayman GTS to crack 62mph in 4.6 seconds and the Boxster GTS in 4.7 seconds.

We’ve reported on speculation about Jaguar Land Rover’s efforts to form a joint venture in China to gain access to the most important car market in the world quite a bit this year. And now it looks as though that joint venture is getting closer, with reports that Jaguar and Chery Automobile are to develop a new luxury brand for China based on Jaguar’s cars.
