XV1000 FUEL TANK came off an '84 model with all the gold trim. Great shape no dents or dings. Clear coat is peeling on top of tank. Inside should just need a good flushing. Sat for a long time with dead gas in it. Parting out the whole bike if there is something else you need.

Eight hot rods compete for Ridler Award in Detroit
Fri, 25 Feb 2011The 59th Annual Autorama has taken over Cobo Center in downtown Detroit with hundreds of hot rods, customs classics cars and motorcycles in what has been billed as America's greatest hot rod show. Judges have selected eight vehicles--dubbed the Great 8--as finalists for the coveted Ridler Award that will be presented Sunday evening at the show's conclusion. The Great 8 are: -- Jim Marciniak from Andover, Minn., with a 1963 Buick.

Detroit is one of four finalists for the 2014 X Games, along with Austin, Texas; Charlotte, N.C., and Chicago. An announcement is expected late this summer as to which of the three cities will be awarded the three-year run of Summer X Games.
