*About the 5 star rating system*

Our goal is to earn a 100% perfect FIVE STAR rating from you. The DSR (star rating system) and the reality is that any rating lower than 5 on the eBay feedback star's can have a significant negative impact on Starr Cycles and Parts as a seller or any other seller on eBay that you are rating. Because eBay has structured the system to reward sellers with over a 4.6 average in each 30 day segment, and to penalize sellers with under a 4.6 average.

Yet from the wording of the allowed ratings that ebay has put into place, a buyer would never know this and most would naturally assume that a 4 star rating is a very good rating. Did you know that if a seller has a 4.6 or lower rating, eBay will penalize that seller by charging them higher fees, and disadvantaging that seller’s items in the ebay search?
What does this mean to you as a buyer? Unfortunately, what this can mean is higher prices. The more fees eBay sellers pay, the more they must charge for their items. When a seller’s items are disadvantaged in search, sales slow and prices increase. So please BEFORE you post permanent feedback if you feel as if Starr Cycles and Parts did NOT earn an all 5 star rating from you please let us know and give us the chance to make whatever you are unhappy with right.

"A Note about the Shipping and Handling Star"

Shipping and handling charges are stated in all of Starr Cycles and Parts Online ads. Since you as a buyer are aware of the shipping and handling charges before purchasing the item, the most important points to consider when leaving a star rating for shipping charges are NOT those charges as you have already agreed to them, but the following:

Did we..
Quote the shipping/handling price in the original auction/store listing and that is what you were charged?

If your answer is yes OR you received "FREE" Shipping, then please choose the 5 on the star rating for the shipping and handling charges section.

"Shipping Time"

The most important consideration for the Shipping Time star is when the item was actually shipped, not when the item was delivered.  Starr Cycles and Parts has no control over how many days the package takes to deliver to your home/place of business. This is particularly true for International orders, which are often delayed by customs or postal inspectors. You can easily assess when the package was shipped by the postmark or other similar date marking, and rate Starr Cycles and Parts based on this date, not the overall delivery date. If you require your item be expedited, please contact us before sending payment.

"Communication"

Starr Cycles and Parts is dedicated to making sure that you know that your item has shipped. We send an email to let you know your item is on its way to your door. In that email, you will find the carrier name and the delivery/tracking confirmation number with the USPS or UPS link.  Please check your bulk folder. Often that email slips into your junk mail or bulk mail folder.

"Item as Described"

Starr Cycles and Parts DOES NOT mask an item or try to mislead or cover something up in an ad. If you have an issue with your item please contact us before posting the feedback along with the 5 star rating for this as well. We are human and could of accidentally missed something on that item. We are NOT in business to lose your business but in business to "KEEP" your business. Please let us know if something isn't right about your item or it doesn't match the description in the ad.

Please BEFORE you post permanent feedback if you feel as if Starr Cycles and Parts did NOT earn an all 5 star rating along with positive feedback, please let us know and give us the chance to make whatever you are unhappy with, right.

Chrysler design chief says Trump is full of it

Fri, 02 Nov 2012

Chrysler design chief and SRT boss Ralph Gilles took to Twitter for a strongly worded rebuke of Donald Trump, telling the businessman he was "full of shit." Trump on Thursday repeated an erroneous Mitt Romney campaign claim that Jeep production was moving to China. Trump tweeted: “[President Barack] Obama is a terrible negotiator. He bails out Chrysler and now Chrysler wants to send all Jeep manufacturing to China—and will!” Gilles tweeted back: “You are full of shit!” Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne told employees in an email on Oct.

Apparently, the 2012 Honda Civic will be quiet & refined

Fri, 26 Aug 2011

2012 Honda Civic - it's quiet As we said on the last story we ran about the 2012 Honda Civic, Honda are taking its launch very seriously, And they’re doing the normal new car tease too, but in a very Honda way. Instead of being lazy and just divvying up a new arty photo of the new Civic once a week for a month, Honda are going the Jaguar XJ school of car teases (just in smaller numbers). Which means proper detail with each tease and some proper thought in the presentation.

Alpina B5 Bi-Turbo (2011) launches

Fri, 09 Jul 2010

The Alpina B5 Bi-Turbo 2011 debuted at Goodwood If you went down to the Goodwood Festival of Speed over the weekend you may well have come across Alpina’s latest offering – the Alpina B5 Bi-Turbo – which, following the news yesterday that BMW have retired the current generation (E60) M5 and that you’ll have to wait intil next year for the new M5 – is the only way to hop in to a brand new ‘Hot’ 5 series for at least the next 9 months. Not only is the Alpina B5 the only really quick 5 series on the market now, it will also be a lot less ubiquitous in the long run than BMW’s own M5. A lot to be said for that.
