Porsche unveils Carrera 4 and 4S Coupe and Convertible (2008)

And like the standard rear-drive Carrera, the 4 and 4S hides it’s new tech under its same-again styling – badging aside, only the 44mm wider rear haunches and that reflective band between the rear lights distinguish the two and four-wheel variants. Well, there’s an all-new four-wheel drive system, for starters.

The 12th annual degree show at the University centered on creating a ‘Whole new, different kind of urban vehicle.' 18 final year transportation design students took on the brief, with underlying themes such as crash safety, versatility and the ability to adapt the vehicle to suit varying driver needs appearing throughout the students' work. Young drivers 'feel invulnerable'
Fri, 25 Apr 2014MORE THAN seven in 10 young drivers think they are better than the average driver despite the age group being 2.5 times more likely to be involved in a serious crash, according to a survey by Vision Critical and road safety charity the Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) The IAM says that the average of 71% reveals a perceived 'invulnerability' in young people that is not reflected in the real world. Britain’s most confident young drivers are in Northern Ireland where an astonishing 87% think they are better than average. The facts tell a different story, with young drivers making up 26% of those involved in crashes.
