Once I have determined IF your engine needs anything else you will be contacted with a quote for parts. Specialized parts will be quoted as needed. Shoot me a message for more information or a quote on your particular situation.

SHIPPING:

Buyer is responsible for shipping cost, including return shipping. You can expect to pay $50-60 east coast, $70-80 west coast to ship your engine to me (these are one way cost). I do not recommend shipping your engine in a cardboard box. PLEASE ship your engine in a 60 quart Igloo cooler on wheels with the lid screwed shut. I have included a photo of the cooler for your reference.

*** Sorry but I cannot be held liable for shipping damages in either direction. We ship about 100 engines per year, each one is packaged carefully. PLEASE ship your engine in a 60 quart Igloo cooler on wheels with the lid screwed shut. ***

TURN AROUND TIME:

Build time will be based on the amount of damage / parts needed for your engine. Some specialized parts may take longer to receive. Or if you want a used part (such as an engine case) I will need time to hunt it down. I do believe in prompt service and excellent communication.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

  • Prompt service
  • Excellent Communication
  • Pictures of your project sent via text
  • Excellent prices on needed parts
  • Honesty
  • Safe return shipping

Mercedes E63 AMG gets a tweak for 2011

Wed, 21 Jul 2010

The Mercedes E63 AMG gets a tweak or three for 2011 The Mercedes E63 AMG debuted at the New York Motor Show last year. Which even in car terms isn’t exactly an age ago. We can’t be sure, but there’s a fair chance that it’s also not much more than six months since the first E63s arrived in customers’ hands in the UK.

KTM X-Bow – the heavyweight dealer arrives

Thu, 11 Jun 2009

Dick Lovett has been appointed as a dealer for the KTM X-Bow And the profile of the X-Bow keeps growing with the effusive comments from those who’ve driven it and the decent marketing the car is enjoying through sensible stuff like the KTM X-Bow Drive Orange days at Brands Hatch and Silverstone. But that 1,000 car a year production may have to be revised again after it has been announced that Dick Lovett – a high-end supercar dealer – has just been appointed KTM X-Bow dealer for South Wales and South West England. We who read (and write) about cars every day tend to assume that anyone looking for a supercar or high-end sports car is completely au fait with what the market has to offer.

Aston Martin V12 Vantage arrives!

Wed, 04 Feb 2009

The Aston Martin V8 Vantage promised so much when it was launched. It looked great, it sounded even better, and Aston Martin promised us it would be cheap (by Aston standards) and show the 911 how it was done. Well… It didn’t quite make it.
