Up for sale here is a cylinder that we removed from a 1994 Yamaha YZ 125. The cylinder has a cast iron sleeve installed and the bore is currently at 54mm which is the STD Bore. The bike ran as is but I would go the first over bore if I were building the engine. Wiseco makes a 54, 54.5, 55, and 56mm  piston for this year. Bore has some scoring and some light detonation near the top of the bore which you can see in the pictures. Would clean up perfectly on first oversize. There is also one bolt broken off on the power valve linkage cover. The power valve itself is still installed in the cylinder and is included in the sale. What you see in the pictures is exactly what you will get so please examine them before you bid.

Porsche 911 Turbo (2010) unveiled

Fri, 07 Aug 2009

By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 07 August 2009 10:14 This is Porsche’s new 911 Turbo, with an enlarged and twin-turbocharged engine producing more power, plus the option of a twin-clutch gearbox that features proper gearshift paddles. Unbelievably, it’s the first entirely new engine in the 35-year history of the Turbo. Essentially it’s the same direct-injection 3.8-litre flat-six that you’ll find in regular 911s, but now fitted with variable geometry twin turbos to give a healthy 493bhp, a 20bhp increase over the current car.

Peugeot 208 Hybrid FE (2013) at Frankfurt motor show

Tue, 27 Aug 2013

Here’s Peugeot’s salvo in the fight to make cars more economical: the 208 Hybrid FE. The supermini concept can achieve a claimed average of 112mpg (and a maximum of 141mpg), and emits only 49g/km of CO2. Peugeot is especially keen to point out it’s a conventionally shaped supermini with five seats, unlike VW’s own super-frugal XL1, which looks decidedly sci-fi in comparison, but has a smaller boot than a Ferrari 458… The 208 FE is 25% slipperier and 20% lighter than a regular 208, but that’s only part of the reason it allegedly achieves such eye-opening numbers at the pumps.
