Used Yanmar 6LY Block with 5k hours engine or boat where never under water. Engine was pulled from head gasket failure as I wanted to have it checked. Block was sent for magna flux and no cracks where found, however cylinders walls are just over specified allowance for variance and i mean just over. My mechanic stated if you are hanging around 5 to 10 miles i would reuse this in a second. but my off shore fishing takes me over 100 miles out .He bought everything else (crank Pistons etc.) from me as it was in such good condition. Most of the main bearings are still on caps and in excellent condition for the hours and all caps are present for re-use So I just decided to go with new cummins engines in my boat instead. . want a new block? over $9k. you can have this one for a fraction of that..I have head as well no cracks in it either. can be negotiated in I coated the cylinder walls with grease and sprayed white lithium grease over everything which is why you see white in photos.

2015 Honda Civic Type R previewed on video with ‘at least 276 bhp’
Sun, 24 Nov 20132015 Honda Civic Type R previewed on video with ‘at least 276 bhp’ The Honda Civic Type R has died a death as new emission regulations sounded the death knell for the high-revving naturally aspirated lump under its bonnet. But Honda are planning on bringing the Type R back to life in 2015, but rather than a VTEC engine that only wanted to really play over 5000 rpm, Honda are heading back to hot hatch goodness with a new turbo engine that promises ‘at least’ 276bhp. That should make the next Honda Civic Type R not only a lot quicker than the last Type R, but its power will be accessible much lower down the rev range and economy and emissions will be much improved.

It's the first car designed by Jason Castriota, the new design chief.
New (2014) BMW M3 and M4: OFFICIAL
Wed, 11 Dec 2013The new BMW M3 (pictured) debuts along with its coupe sibling, the BMW M4 (below) We’ve had teases from BMW for the new M3 and M4 but now, ahead of a public debut at the Detroit Auto Show next month, we get the official details. Key to the four-door M3 and 2-door M4 is the new 3.0 litre engine, a new turbo, direct injection in-line six petrol which produces 425bhp and a very healthy 405lb/ft of torque from just 1850 rpm. That sort of grunt is enough to get the M3 and M4 to 62mph in 4.3 seconds with the standard six-speed manual, but opt for the seven-speed DCT ‘box and it’s even quicker – just 4.1 seconds.
