Mustang Monday: 1985 Mustang GT is more than just a car
Thu, 28 Nov 2013The “Real Drivers” series from hittingredline.com takes a look at interesting cars and their equally interesting owners. These aren't always crazy exotics or 1,000-hp pavement-burners (though sometimes they are), but we found this particular episode about a 1985 Ford Mustang GT drag racer owned by a man named Michael Murphy a real heart-string tugger. MG CS SUV Concept heading for Shanghai Motor Show
Thu, 11 Apr 2013MG are still struggling to make much of an impact on the car landscape, but one car that could change that is a funky urban crossover / SUV to give cars like the Nissan Juke a run for their money. That looked to be on the cards last year when MG turned up at the Beijing Motor Show with the MG Icon, an SUV.Crossover Concept that took the ‘Ugly but Cute’ style cues from the Juke but grafted on a nose that looked like it could have come from MG’s sports car past. The Icon was a decent effort – and even won an award for ‘Best Concept’ at Beijing from Autoweek – but it looks like MG has decided the design of the Icon was just a bit too radical, so they’ve toned it down with a new concept heading for this year’s Shanghai Motor Show – the MG CS Concept.
BMW's EfficientDynamics teaser (2010)
Wed, 15 Sep 2010This rather strange looking black BMW is the German car company’s latest publicity stunt. Painted matt black, and with ‘dontblogaboutthis’ emblazoned across its flanks, it is of course a tease designed to get forums fanatics and bloggers worked up into a frenzy as everyone tries to guess what it is. BMW has released just a few photos, plus a couple of videos, all of which are on www.dontblogaboutthis.com.
