Car Design News launches global user survey
Mon, 01 Dec 2008We've carried out CDN user surveys before, but this is the first one structured so that we can assess the needs of the different parts of the design community - by discipline, by region, by background, by price point, and more. Take a moment to give us feedback on what you like, what you don't and what you think we're missing. The survey is anonymous and will take 4-5 minutes of your time - maximum. The results will be used to build enhancements or change some of the direction of Car Design News.
2012 Infiniti FX Facelift revealed – but not for the UK
Thu, 04 Aug 20112012 Infiniti FX Facelift - but not for the UK & Europe, You’d be forgiven for not even knowing what an Infiniti FX looks like; they’re far from ubiquitous in the UK. That said, we did spot an FX in the wild at the start of the year, although nothing since. Yet if you want an Infiniti FX there is a decent choice; everything from a 3.0 litre diesel to a 5.0 litre V8 by way of a 3.7 litre V6.
MOT test scrapped for Classic Cars
Mon, 21 May 2012MOTs scrapped for Classic Cars The Department for Transport has announced it is scrapping MOT tests for cars registered before 1960. In a move that probably won’t make much difference to owners – but will at least cut down on red tape – the Department of Transport has announced that from 18th November 2012 owners of cars registered before 1960 will no longer require an annual MOT. The argument for the change is that owners of classic and historic cars have a much lower accident and MOT failure rate than other vehicles on the road.
