JaguarRSR XKR GT2 (2010) meets its forebears

The JaguarRSR XKR GT2 will compete at La Sarthe in summer 2010 to mark Jaguar's 75th anniversary of Le Mans competition. To avoid the costs of creating a whole new chassis, the M4S is based on a modified Huffaker tubular chassis with full roll cage taken from the Pontiac Fiero IMSA race car, only lengthened to a 100-inch wheelbase.

Mercedes' GLK problem: Too many high-end models in the U.S.

Mercedes-Benz has adjusted option packages on its new GLK-class premium SUV to help cope with an oversupply of high-priced versions. Ernst Lieb, CEO of Mercedes-Benz USA, said the company exported too many high-end models for the January U.S. launch.
