Been thinking about adding the wide body look to your C6 Corvette or just need to replace a front fender or 2 on the Z06. Well, here you go. I have 2 never installed, fiberglass front Z06 fenders from Ecklers Corvette. I bought them to upgrade my Z51 narrow body Vette, but as always life sometimes takes one in a different direction. So, my loss is now your gain. The fenders will need the standard prep for any fiberglass part. there is also very small areas that will require filling and sanding. As I have told by a body man; this is nothing out of the norm. If you would like more pics, please contact me. I ask that you thoroughly inspect the fenders upon delivery. Should there be any issues, please contact and we will resolve. Shipping for this item will be either via GREYHOUND or UPS Freight. GREYHOUND is the best and most effective option. The item will weigh around 45 lbs, GREYHOUND or Freight shipping is due to the size once packaged.

Michelin Challenge Design competition celebrates 10 years

With excepts from jury members Freeman Thomas, Director of Advanced Design at Ford; Victor Nacif, VP of Design at Nissan Design Europe; Geza Loczi, Director of Design at Volvo Monitoring Concept Center; Dave Marek, Advanced Design Director for Honda North America; Steward Reed, Chair of Transportation Design at ACCD; Frank Saucedo, Design Director of GM's Advanced Design Studio in California and Chris Chapman of BMW Designworks USA, the video outlines some of the 2700 entries Michelin has received since the competition's inception in 2002. That year, the MCD display at the NAIAS in Detroit featured cars from European design houses.

Mon, 29 Apr 2013Whether you think the London Congestion Charging Zone is a great way to clean up the air quality of the capital or just another way to tax motorists, you’re going to struggle even more to avoid it after the emission exemption levels are changed on 1st July so only cars emitting 75g/km CO2 or less will be exempt from the charge, Boris says the new lower level is necessary because car makers have worked their socks off to produce small diesel cars with the ability to hit the magic sub 100g/km emissions level in recent years, and that means London is suffering from air pollution as a result. The only answer, apparently, is to drop the limit to 75g/km or less to make those ‘dirty’ diesels pay their way. By reducing the limit to 75g/km you are effectively only allowing EVs and Plug-ins an exemption from congestion charging, thereby moving their emissions off to wherever the electricity they use is produced.
Audi A5 Sportback preview (w/ Video)
Wed, 17 Jun 2009Audi has revealed a teaser image and sketch of the forthcoming A5 Sportback, which is scheduled to make its debut at the Frankfurt motor show in September. Though the core design of the production car is similar to the Sportback show car unveiled at the NAIAS in Detroit at the start of this year, it will be smaller in size. Coined a 'five-door coupe' by the Ignolstadt-based automaker, the Sportback features a spoiler lip and a diffuser insert integrated into its elongated rear end.
