Zddp Oil Additive, Zinc Zddp Treatment Revx Racing Max Engine Performance on 2040-parts.com
Sparta, Michigan, United States
THIS LISTING IS FOR 4 - 2oz BOTTLES OF REV-X RACING ZINC AND ONE REV-X STICKER The ZDDP reduction in engine oils particularly spelled trouble for older flat tappet style camshafts — and high-performing engines. ZDDP creates a sacrificial film on contact points that acts as a wear surface in place of the metal. As ZDDP is reduced or more detergent is added, that film can decrease and component wear increase. If some ZDDP (Zinc) is good, then more has to be better, right? Nope. I know this runs counter to most of the thinking in the performance marketplace, but when it comes to lubrication, balance is key! Too much of any one thing in a lubricant, or even the lubricant itself, is damaging. Too much ZDDP can actually increase wear. Rev-X Racing's Special Zinc Formula has been blended for maximum performance, with just the right amount of additive! Features and Benefits of REV-X ZINC: -Protects High Load Components -Necessary For All Racing Engines -Protects During Critical Engine Break-In -Protects New Camshafts And Lifters -Prevents Costly Component Failures -Protects On The Track Or In Storage -Can Be Used In Mineral Or Synthetic Oils Classic, Vintage, and Historic vehicles built prior to the 1990's REQUIRE ZDDP for normal operation to prevent wear and serious engine damage!! RECOMMENDED USAGE: Each 2 oz bottle of REV-X ZINC treats up to 6 qts of engine oil.
