Is your Zenith Stromberg Auto Choke sticking and running rich causing your engine to run very hot and getting lousy mileage .... Don't replace it with a manual choke kit ... rebuild it! And for much less than installing a manual choke kit. The manual choke kit uses all but 3 pieces of the Auto Choke! If it's sticking ... adding a manual cable won't fix that.

Fix that Triumph Spitfire, MG Midget, Jaguar, MGB & Others

Send me your Zenith Stromberg Auto Choke & I will return it rebuilt and working like new.

Choke is completely stripped down, soaked in carb solvent overnight, mounting surface lapped smooth and re-assembled with new gaskets and seals. It is then calibrated on an engine to check performance.

Email me if you need something special

( DOES NOT INCLUDE THE TRIUMPH TR7 FASD ELECTRIC CHOKE ... SORRY, NO PARTS, NOT MEANT TO REBUILD)

DOES NOT include replacing broken or missing parts such as cracked insulator or rotted water jacket ... I can get those parts at cost.

Turn around time is approx 1 week after I receive the choke

Scuola Politecnica di Design announces Chris Bangle workshop

Mon, 13 Jul 2009

Italy’s Scuola Politecnica di Design has announced a seven-day workshop with former BMW Group design boss Chris Bangle at its campus in Milan. Themed ‘Future Personal Emotional Mobility’ and scheduled to run from 18 to 24 September 2009, the workshop invites design degree graduates and experienced car designers to take part in a project to create a new breed of sustainable shared transportation for the year 2050. Based on the concept that the mass migration of people from the countryside to cities will in the future create even more social, economic and ecological differences between population zones, this event will see attendees work closely with Bangle towards designing systems that engage on an emotional as well as an economic level, satisfying the personal transportation needs – and desires – of a disparate global population while minimising impact on the environment.

Citroen DS3 DSport 150 Review & Road Test (2010) Part 2

Wed, 15 Sep 2010

Citroen DS3 Road Test With the DS3 Citroen has got just about everything right (well, apart from a short-lived, poor-taste anti-retro advert or two) from the cool, funky and incredibly contemporary exterior to the equally cool – and very upmarket feeling – interior. True, our car has a chunk of extras- including some upmarket leather – which make it feel more premium, but even without the extra toys this is a stunningly good-looking car, inside and out. In fact the DS3 is so appealing to the eye it’s the only car this year – apart from the new Jaguar XJ – where we’ve had people knock on the window begging for a look.

Renault Laguna Coupe Monaco GP special edition announced

Tue, 20 Apr 2010

The Renault Laguna Coupe Monaco GP Special Edition We were going to report that Renault were releasing the Laguna Coupe Monaco GP Special Edition a week or so ago, but we actually thought it was a France-only model. Not that that is necessarily a reason not to run a story, but a France-only car – from a not exactly top-selling model – from a French car maker maker meant that the story would probably have been of interest to a limited number. But Renault have decided that the slightly odd looking Renault Laguna Coupe will be available as the Monaco GP Special Edition this side of the Channel as well, so best we give you the gen.
