Motorway drink-driver to be sentenced
Fri, 28 Mar 2014A CARE ASSISTANT who admitted drink-driving the wrong way along a motorway will be sentenced today. Katy Homer, 26, is due to attend Wolverhampton Crown Court after pleading guilty to charges of driving with excess alcohol and dangerous driving. CCTV footage of the incident showed oncoming drivers flashing their headlights as Homer drove her Vauxhall Astra north on a southbound section of the M5 in the West Midlands.
McLaren P1 Spied

We got the public reveal of the McLaren P1 – the spiritual successor to the iconic McLaren F1 – at the Paris Motor Show in September, and the McLaren boys told us the car was 95 per cent of how the final P1 would look. But now BMW has finally gone official and revealed all the goodies on their mid-size saloon of the future – the 2010 BMW 5 Series or, if you’re in the US, the 2011 BMW 5 Series. The new 5 Series migrates to the same underpinnings as the new 5 Series GT and 7 Series – and for that matter the Rolls Royce Ghost – which means this new 5 Series loses the traditional suspension struts and gets a multi-link arrangement all round.
