6.5" 2WD IFS Suspension System
This 6.5" system will give you an offroad worthy truck that you can still use as a daily driver. Not only is this system over 90% Made in the USA, this system has many advantages over the competition including new coil over struts instead of strut spacers.

By replacing the struts, Zone Offroad enhances the valving to control the unsprung weight of a 33 or 35" tire for a drastic increase in ride and handling performance over simple strut spacers. The crossmembers are made from 1/4" thick steel and maintain a clean appearance. They are locked together with two strut bars to add rigidity.

The CNC machined ductile iron steering knuckles ensure proper steering and control arm geometry and do not limit you to 18" or larger wheels or require you to cut off the upper control arm droop limiter like the competition. By retaining the factory droop limit, you don't need to worry about excessive ball joint or steering component wear and be certain the system works with the truck's Stabilitrack System.

The differences don't end there, Zone Offroad only uses solid cast rear lift blocks as opposed to fabricated blocks and limits the height to 5". If you need additional rear height, Zone offers a preferred add-a-leaf to fight spring wrap and yield additional height.

Combine all of these factors and you can lock in the Zone 6.5" system as the best value out there! Your search has ended.

Daihatsu hits Indonesian show with eight new concept cars

Wed, 25 Sep 2013

Daihatsu has launched a product offensive on the Indonesian International Motor Show in Jakarta, with eight concept cars all based around the theme ‘Compact ECO Mobility Best Friend'. As their endearingly Jenglish theme suggests, each of the cars is as compact as possible – Daihatsu is best known for producing Kei cars for its domestic Japanese market. (Incidentally the company's Tanto remains the most adorable of the Kei breed.) The UFC 2 (the blue car) is an evolution of the UFC that was show in 2012 and manages to squeeze seven seats into is handsomely contemporary body.

The 2011 version of the Ford Shelby GT500 Mustang carries a supercharged 5.4-liter V8 that weighs less, delivers more power and uses a unique spray-coating process that eliminates the need for cast-iron liners in the aluminum cylinder block. The 550-hp Shelby GT500 also loses something from the previous model--it's gas-guzzler tax. Ford says the new Shelby GT500 will deliver 23 mpg on the highway and 15 mpg in the city.
