Fashion designer John Varvatos continues Detroit theme in new Chrysler 300 ad
Thu, 12 May 2011Continuing the "Imported from Detroit" campaign that launched with Eminem's epic Super Bowl ad, Chrysler has partnered with fashion designer and native Detroiter John Varvatos for the next installment in the star-studded series of commercials. With Iggy Pop playing in the background, the spot shows Varvatos driving a Chrysler 300 as the voiceover says that the Motor City's "perfect combination of rock and roll and heavy industry" made it the designer's muse. Chrysler also is running an ad with Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh.

Thanks to a ruthless diet and an uprated 2.0-litre TFSI turbo petrol engine, the all-wheel drive TT Ultra will launch to 62mph in 4.2sec, (1.3sec faster than a regular Audi TTS) and hit 173mph flat out. Thu, 01 Mar 2012The Bentley SUV Concept will debut at Geneva It’s reported that the Bentley SUV Concept is heading for Geneva 2012 complete with plug-in hybrid powertrain. We reported last month that we though there was a strong possibility we could see the Bentley SUV at the Geneva Motor Show this year, although the only fly in that ointment of speculation was the imminent arrival of the Lamborghini SUV. But now we know that the Lamborghini MLC will not debut at Geneva, but wait a month to be revealed at the Beijing Motor Show at the end of April, the strong possibility that the Bentley SUV will arrive at Geneva now becomes a probability.
