Citroen DS3 Cabrio Racing confirmed for production – and it’s OFFICIAL

Mon, 16 Dec 2013

The Citroen DS3 Cabrio Racing is officially going in to production It’s been more than three years since the Citroen DS3 Racing arrived as a performance pocket rocket to sit at the top of the DS3 range, but all we’ve had so far on the obvious next route – the DS3 Cabrio Racing – is a concept at Goodwood this year. We did hear shortly after its appearance at Goodwood that the Citroen DS3 Cabrio Racing is going in to production, but now that’s been made official by Peugeot. In terms of what’s on offer, the Cabrio – apart from the hole in the roof – is going to be exactly what the DS 3 Racing is with a 1.6 litre four-pot Turbo delivering a very healthy 207bhp, enough for a 0-62mph in around 6.5 seconds.

2012 Ford Focus ECOnetic revealed

Wed, 06 Apr 2011

The 2012 Ford Focus ECOnetic raises the bar on economy & emissions With the 2011 Ford Focus now hitting showrooms and the roads, we can start to look forward to the usual ‘secondary’ reveals for the range – the ‘Eco’ and the ‘Quick’. Next year should see the launch of the 2012 Focus ST, and it will definitely see the launch of theĀ 2012 Ford Focus ECOnetic, details of which have been revealed this morning by Ford. Building on the previous Focus ECOnetcic, Ford has managed to take an axe to emissions (cutting them to just 95g/km) and to fuel usage (Ford reckons 80mpg) which is better than any other car in its sector in Europe.

2014 Hyundai Genesis first glimpse

Thu, 24 Oct 2013

Here are the first official shots of the next Hyundai Genesis, a long, cool drink of water that will chart the course for many larger Hyundai sedans to come. “We want more premium luxury,” said Moon Sik Kwon, president of Hyundai R&D. “Genesis will lead the way.” Details are not officially released yet, so, even though we just drove the thing all over Hyundai's Nam Yang proving ground here in Korea and have a definite opinion about it, we can't tell you whether or not it was a well-composed, powerfully quick, huge step up and over the first Genesis sedan.
