Top 10 cars recalled for safety issues in 2013
Fri, 31 Jan 2014A total of 850,000 cars were recalled in Britain last year, according to figures released by the Vehicle and Operator Service Agency (Vosa). A recall takes place when a car manufacturer becomes aware of a safety-related defect involving one of its cars. Diesel rocket passes 300mph in record bid

The sleek racer – powered by twin diesel engines each producing 750bhp – touched 308.252mph yesterday (Thursday 17 August). That smashes the current diesel car world record of 235.756mph, set in 1973.
Infiniti previews Sebastian Vettel-inspired FX50 before Frankfurt motor show

The 390-hp sports crossover looks to be painted in matte white, which was one of the things discussed in the Vettel FX50 teaser video we saw on Friday. The video shows Vettel and Infiniti design chief Shiro Nakamura discussing the vehicle that is set to debut in Frankfurt, including colors, steering wheels and carbon-fiber accents.
