You are bidding on a Used but in very nice condition Vintage Ford F1 1948-1952 Car Truck Universal Heater Shell for a Rat Rod
Item is in great condition. It appears to have been repainted grey, then a really nice pinstripping was put on it. Purple and lillac in color. I believe it was installed at one point and then later removed. There are some scratch & chip marks near the 4 holes to installed the item. There are some scratch marks on the inside of the shell, inside edges. The left side pinstrip is scratched up just alittle, the rest of the pinstrip appears to be in very good condtion. On the inside of the double doors,where they open down the center there are some paint chips, smudges. Please see photos for best description. There are no major dings or dents. Very nice piece. Tue, 13 Mar 2012Miami trauma surgeon and preeminent car-crash researcher Jeffrey Augenstein would often tell the story of the time he was talking to a crash victim who collapsed and died from hidden injuries in the middle of the conversation. The experience led Augenstein to research and then call attention to the unexpected injuries that could occur when drivers interacted with airbags. It's but one example of the achievements of Augenstein, who died recently at age 64.
