This auction is for two shoulder belts with roof mounts from a 1969 Nova SS and they may fit other models. The car was wrecked in 1980 and these were removed and stored indoors. The belts are tagged Irvin Model # 2950 and 47-A-68 (late November 1968) and are about 40" in length see pictures. The chrome is not rusty or pitted, the belts need a good cleaning but they are not frayed or faded and all the tags are all intact.

Arizona auctions: Scottsdale sales net an estimated $157 million

WITH VIDEO -- Five days of sales staged by auto auction companies in the Phoenix area pulled in a combined estimated total of $157 million, according to Hagerty Insurance. The five companies staging auctions--Barrett-Jackson, Gooding & Co., RM Auctions, Russo and Steele and Silver Auctions--offered 2,887 lots for sale and sold 2,325 of them, an 81 percent sell-through rate. A 2006 Ferrari FXX Evoluzione at the Gooding auction was listed as the top single sale with a price of $2.09 million, Hagerty said.

The Pagani Huayra - Confirmed for the US Despite becoming a hypercar maker of renown – a major achievement in a little over a decade – Pagani has never sold cars in the US. Which means the delicious Zonda – in all its many iterations – has never been available  in the US market, and even imports from other parts of the world are impossible. Honda reveals ‘Forza’ design contest winner in Chicago

Honda teamed up with “Forza Motorsport” to reveal the winning entry in the “Forza Motorsport” Civic Si Design Contest at the 2014 Chicago Auto Show on Friday. The winner was Tiffany Labedz of Phoenix, who beat out 17,000 other members of the Xbox “Forza” community. "At Honda, we love meeting our customers where their passion lies, and the racing and custom car design in ‘Forza Motorsport’ is definitely a passion for so many Honda and Civic enthusiasts," said Tom Peyton, Honda’s assistant vice president of advertising.
