ORIGINAL FRONT AND REAR STANDARD BLACK SEAT BELT BUCKLES

This listing is for the 4 seat belt buckles pictured. These are used but are in good condition.  These are referred to as the exploding seat belts and were the standard buckles 1973 Mustang and Cougars. The plastic surrounding the release buttons are in good condition and are not cracked or chipped. The belts are originally black and have not been painted or dyed. The plastic sleeve on the front belts is in good condition and is not cut or torn. These could use some detailing and do show some wear but overall look good. These are 15" in length overall for the front belts and 11" for the rear. These were removed from a 73 Mustang and are hard to find in this condition. Reproductions are very different from these originals.

BAC Mono finally hits the U.S. (video)

Sat, 26 Jan 2013

Sector 111 – US importers of the epic BAC Mono – have finally revealed the first US Mono at Cars and Coffee in Irvine, California. It’s more than a year since we reported that Sector 111 would be offering the BAC Mono in the US and now, having completely sold their 2012 allocation of just 12 Monos, the first US built (well, bolted together from a CKD kit by Sector 111) has been revealed to petrolheads at the Cars and Coffee meet in Irvine, California. And the Cars & Coffee meeting is a great place for Sector 111 to show off their first Mono as its attended by a bunch of knowledgeable and wealthy Californians, just the sort of potential buyer Sector 111 are looking for.

We won’t see anything at the 2010 Paris motor show (more details of the alliance with Daimler are expected to be the news there) but the 2010 LA, or 2011 Detroit or Geneva shows will host a new Infiniti concept car to follow on from the gorgeous Essence (pictured above with design director Shiro Nakamura).  We told you the other day about Infiniti's new electric car coming in 2012.
