The front cover is mostly very nice and clean and shiny and unabused with just a little wear and a touch of soil. The rear cover, however, is more soiled and there is a very respectable bend and crease that has also involved the last 7 pages. Obviously, this manual had once been carelessly shoved into a bookcase or kitbag. The cover remains well attached by lightly rusted staples. There is an old price written at the top left corner of the inside front cover. There is patina throughout as you might expect of a manual of this vintage. That is it. The book is otherwise rather pristine inside with no other writing or markings, no highlighting, no torn or loose or missing pages. The corners are a mostly sharp, and the book still lays pretty flat. See the photos.” Read Less Aircraft Type:172N Make:Cessna Country/Region of Manufacture:United States

John Buckingham's Lagonda project was one of several Aston Martin projects featured this year. This is a front-engined limousine in the style of the 1976 Bill Towns Lagonda with a compact cabin, shallow DLO and a very long, high tail combined with a much more 'delicate' aesthetic than existing full-size limousines. Unusual features include a shark nosed form with concave sculpted fenders inspired by the DB3R and a full-width light bar visor contained in an inverted Aston grille.

Jaguar & Land Rover to share more platforms. But you already knew that.

As Jaguar and Land Rover expand their model range and move to aluminium construction, they plan to share more platforms. Jaguar has been using an aluminium platform for the XJ for some time – long before the latest XJ came along. The aluminium platform the XJ uses is just the start for Jaguar Land Rover, as we reported back in 2009, and it seems that JLR are planning to use the move to aluminium underpinnings to cut their platforms to just two or three.

Juke-R created from GT-R parts in Nissan video

Wed, 12 Oct 2011

Nissan has posted a second video of the Juke-R conversion on its Facebook and YouTube pages, highlighting the transfer of technology from the Nissan GT-R sports car to the Juke crossover. As you can imagine, it gets pretty complicated. In the video, Nissan engineers and managers talk about what it took to put the 485-hp V6 engine, all-wheel-drive system and all of its controllers into the Juke.
