Acquired this custom spoiler to attach to my 76 Triumph TR7 that I was retrofitting with
a 13B Mazda Rotary Engine. Never got around to using this one. It was made by Ryder National Corporation in about 1984 or so? from fiberglas. Very good condition, never used. Some small chips at a couple points of flash removal on intake vents, and a small chip shown with hand for ref. on side. Otherwise very acceptable overall. It has been stored since 1985 in my garage rafters and overstaying it's welcome there. Note: I believe Ryder Nat'l. Corp. is no longer in business. Part must be picked up in Redondo Beach, Ca., 90277 due to total weight being billed by packaging dimensions in this case (not by actual part weight of approx. 6 lbs or so) PayPal is preferred payment, pick up within 3 days of purchase unless otherwise agreed. Connected Car Expo is coming to Los Angeles Auto Show
Wed, 18 Sep 2013A day before the start of the LA Auto Show will be the Connected Car Expo, which will show us the latest in singing, dancing, electronic gadgetry and advances in infotainment. In addition to the two press days, November 19th promises to feature some big companies making some equally big announcements. Audi will unveil its A3 and S3 models with the first 4G LTE system built into a car, complementing its already Wifi-enabled offerings.
Kia Provo upsets Northern Ireland
Thu, 07 Mar 2013The Kia Provo Concept for a funky urban car has run in to trouble in Northern Ireland as its name evokes the Troubles. Looking like a Kia take on the Juke – although we think Kia see it more as a take on the MINi Countryman / MINI Paceman – it looks like a perfect direction for Kia to take with a ready market for butch little cars for blatting round town growing all the time. But you can’t please all the people all the time, and Kia has run in to trouble with the Provo already, as Unionist MPs in Northern Ireland have taken exception to the name.
